Hi n,
Welcome to Benefits and Work
Yes, that is quick !!!!
You should receive written confirmation of the appointment.
On the whole, feedback from our members regarding Capita PIP Assessors is positive with respect to their professionalism and politeness.
It seems that they are happy to conduct the assessment in a room of your choosing, and they do not ask to look around your home, although you may want to draw their attention to any aids or adaptations that you have.
Their biggest fault is turning up early, late or not at all !!
You can read what to expect at your PIP Assessment from Page 64 of our :
PIP Claims Guide. (2nd Link on page) You can download save/read the latest guidance given to PIP Assessors on how they should carry out the PIP Consultation :
Here. You can have someone else present, and they can take minutes of the proceedings.
Best of luck, and please keep us all updated !!
