PIP rollout 28th May 2015 was created by penthesili
Hi
I've got DLA indefinite, old term and am in one of the areas due to be 'rolled out from 28th May. As there's no change to my claim, will I be safe from PIP migration until after October 2015?
Cheers, Pen.

Hi pts,

Yes, it is still the stated intention of The DWP not to start inviting current DLA recipients with "Indefinite" awards to claim PIP until "Sometime after October 2015" continuing until October 2017.

Many thanks Bro.
Having just seen the latest news topic I was 'having kittens' worrying. Nurse pass the Morphine! At least my carers and I will have some time to draft PIP answers..... after we've finished this year's financial assessment for Council 'community care'. It's all go being disabled.
Cheers, Pen.

Hi Bro58,

Is their a specific date the first "invitations" will be sent out to recipients of indefinite DLA awards is it just "sometime after October 2015" ? I'd imagined the big rollout began on the 1st October....

Hi MW,

"sometime after October 2015" is the actual wording used by The DWP, that is why we quote it so much ! :)

Hi Bro58,

The timing of the rollout for DLA claimants with indefinite awards is badly in need of clarity. Today's B & W newsletter reads: "The transfer of claimants with indefinite DLA awards is due to begin in October...."
