It is not clear to me when I might expect an "invitation" to transfer from DLA to PIP. Please could you clarify it for me. I have been receiving the middle rate of DLA for many years originally "for life" which became indefinite. I am 61 years old.
Does this mean I should expect the transfer from October 2015 or as my postcode is "N" from July 2015 ? Knowing might relieve my anxiety. How long does the process take?
Thanks.

Hi G,

As you are a current DLA Recipient with a Life/Indefinite Award, you will be invited to claim PIP "sometime after October 2015".

This process will run until October 2017 when "all" current DLA recipients who were under 65 on 08/04/13 "Should" have been transferred over to PIP.

I know the "sometime after October 2015" is rather vague but that is all that the DWP have stated.

Of course we have the General Election before then, so who knows ?
