Pip Appeal was created by Leaver
Hello,
I went for my Pip Appeal on the 1st of May.
I was pleased to say that I won and was awarded it for 5 years so runs out 2019 as this is from May 2014.
My question is really do you know how long you have to wait for the money that they owe me for last year to be paid
Many thanks

Michele
Congratulations on winning your appeal.
It usually takes the DWP 5-8 weeks to process the paperwork, you may be able to speed it up slightly by making sure that they have received their copy of the Decision Notice and if not faxing them a copy of yours.

Hi,
Well done Michele!
Reading this made me wonder, do you not get a decision from the tribunal on the day of the hearing if you attend?
Thanks in advance!

Sometimes the Tribunal with notify the claimant of their decision on the spot, sometimes they will send a letter afterwards. It largely depends on how busy they are on the day.

They can but because there are so many hearings nowadays they often send the result by post as they don't have the time for all of the admin associated with a Decision between hearings and do it at the end of the day.
