I have been refused PIP and my reconsideration was also turned down. I'm preparing to go to tribunal. I've already submitted a letter from my go with my reconsideration but I now need one from my surgeon. I have a spinal injury. What information do I need them to include?

Hi cl,
Welcome to Benefits and Work
You should try and tie in the limitations/disabilities caused as a result of your spinal injury with the relevant PIP Descriptors that you feel you should score the appropriate number of points for.
So it would help if the Surgeon could tie in your diagnosis with the limitations/disabilities that you suffer, then tie them to the appropriate PIP Descriptor/s.
You could also highlight and reiterate information that you have already provided.
Just because the DWP Decision Maker has not awarded you the correct number of points at MR, does not mean the a Tribunal won't.
