ESA support group length & re-assessment was created by pingusolid
Hello,
I telephoned the ESA section recently and asked for my re-assessment date. The lady said April 2017 is the date for a re-assessment. If that's really the case then it's given me some breathing space.

I'm in support group and the last time an ESA50 arrived and was filled in was feb 2013. I was not asked to attend a WCA.

I thought the maximum length for ESA in support was 3 years before a reassessment occurs. I didn't think to ask her any further questions.

Does this date seem correct ? Could this be due to the backlog ?

Would a SAR give me all the info such as length of support group award, ESA85A and medical/clinical evidence used to make the award ?

Thanks

Hi AW,

It is quite feasible that your reassessment date is April 2017 due to deferrals !!

3 years is "normally" the maximum period in between reassessments.

Many ESA recipients will go over the 3 years maximum period due to deferrals.
