The normal timescale for requesting a SoR is one month from the date of the hearing, so there is a very good chance that your request will be refused even if you explain your reasons for the delay.

You need to write to the venue where your hearing was held. Mark it for the attention of the Judge that presided over your hearing.

You need to provide the Tribunal Service reference number of the appeal. Also use your full name.

You need to request a copy of the Statement of Reasons and the Record of Proceedings.

You will need to provide reasons for the late request. It may not be enough to just say that you thought your Representative was making the request for you, so also explain how you have been chasing them for an update.

If you can afford it, send it by a tracked post.
