Hello there Re DLA renewal Is it considered appropriate to mention the fact that, if you already have a car, that you would not be able to run your car without DLA.? Or likewise if you don't have a car and need one. This could apply to any other item that you may already have or not have. If the point of having DLA is to enable you to buy things that would help you in your disablement, does that mean you should mention the item in every reply to the questions they are asking. No, it will not help to tell the assessor what you would use the money for or how much you need the money for your car. You must focus on explaining your care and mobility needs in detail, if that includes mentioning the aids you use, that will be fine.
