If the amount was what you would expect to have been paid then the most likely reason is that there has been some sort of failure in the ESA system and your payment had to be made manually. The ESA payment system is piggy backed onto the JSA one, so ad hoc payments show as JSA.
If you are still concerned then you need to call the DWP about it.
