I am on Higher rate care and mobility PIP. I am self employed and do not have a job as such due to my conditions. I occasionally did some merchandising work, but only when i was up to it. I decided to go to my doctor who confirmed I was unable to move from seat to seat I thought that was an support group automatic condition, I have worsening fibromyalgia, chronic hip dysplasia from birth, which has resulted in a back condition which they not cure, (well 20years ago they could have I have been told by specialist) I have sent in all the medical evidence from years back. A few weeks ago i got so low, I took an overdose, I was sent to hospital from the mental health unit, they have reports from that also. I am on 1100mg of Gabapentin a day for
I have that much evidence, but i still have to go to another medical. I have a OCD mental condition. I am currently on Cilatapom. i was on prozac but that was not working. I am confused, I do everything the wrong way round, my husband is 20 years older than me 72, he helps me all he can.
What I'm really asking is, if i go for the medical, as some things on the PIP and ESA form contradict each other, I don't want to be losing my PIP as the answers are different.
I really feel like not bothering with the WCA at all and tell them to stuff it, what a waste of tax payers money.I've nothing to hide, just can't understand why they have to double up. I would appreciate any guidance, I have my WCA on Aug 21st. It is making me feel ill and depressed wondering if I can cope going.
Do you think it would help if i sent my lifetime award for both to the powers that be, don't think they have seen it.

Hi r1962,

I see that Gordon has previously explained ESA and PIP : Here.

If you feel that your limitations/disabilities preclude/restrict you attending a face to face, you should contact : The Centre for Health and Disability Assessments (CHDA) (Maximus) who took over the ESA WCA Contract from ATOS on 02/03/15.

They will probably insist that your G.P. Faxes them supporting you not having to attend a face to face, giving reasons.

You are allowed to rearrange a face to face once and you can request that it is recorded.
