Ive been getting DLA for some years now and have recently asked for a pip form to be sent. I have numerous problems with walking, balance, standing and getting in and out of bath and seisures. recently I have had an OT assessment and have been given some help . a bath lift , a raiser on toilet and walking stick as well as other things and recommendations like rails around house etc . Will this go against me to do with PIP . I didn't have theses things when I was assessed for DLA .

In general aids and appliances that the claimant needs in order to complete the PIP activities should result in them scoring points, this is different from DLA where they counted against you.
Have a look at our PIP Claim guide for more details
