I was successful in being awarded high rate mobility and high rate care in spring 2013 and given this for 3 years before reassessment.

This morning I have received a letter and a new set of forms stating the DWP are "looking again at my PIP".

As my 3 year term expires Spring 2016, I was expecting them to be in contact at some point towards the end of the year or into next year, but this seems really early.

Is this the normal pattern to ask for reapplication so soon or should I be concerned as the other reasons behind this letter?

Nothing has changed in terms of my condition AND I've also developed Inflammatory Arthritis on top.

I would be grateful to hear anyone else's experiences in terms of the recall for renewal please.What are your experiences?

If you have only just received the re-assessment documents then you have been lucky, most claimants are receiving these a year in advance or their award ending.

This is a full re-assessment of your entitlement so you need to complete the form in detail and provide evidence in support of your limitations as you can, even if this evidence was already been submitted.

Our PIP guidance has changed since you were last assessed so make sure you use the latest guides.
