Hi there, I am in receipt of contributory employment support allowance (in the support group) and have a small private pension which has been declared. I also have company dividends from income from rental property which I have been told doesn't count in the cesa assessment as it is only pension and health insurance income that is taken into consideration. Can you confirm this is correct please?

If you are only receiving Contribution Based ESA then any income (other than from pension) will not effect your payments.
If you have any Income Related ESA payment then you need to notify the DWP about the dividends.
