Assessors are paid for providing assessment reports, these can be in one of two forms, the majority are the result of face to face assessment, some are produced only from the claimants claim form, any evidence attached and any additional information that the assessor was able to source from the claimants nominated medical contacts.
They are not incentivised to provide reports that would result in no award.
As this is not really an area that we deal with on the forum and could easily turn into a discussion I am locking this topic.
