PIP ASSESSMENT HAGLEY RD BIRMINGHAM was created by mrsboop
Hi, i have my pip assessment on friday with capita. i have to go to the one in hagley rd, birmingham.
I just wandered if anyone had been there and could help me with parking etc and what the building is like inside.
i have read so many horror stories that i am really getting quite anxious now about going.
if anyone has any pearls of wisdom for me that would be great.
i have fibromyalgia, chronic pain and chronic fatique.
thank you

Blimey, what parking? I haven't been there since my last medical, well over a year ago but they don't have parking. Not even a disabled bay.
There are long walks from the train station or closest bus stop and they film outside - be warned.
The nearest parking is across the main duel carriageway and down a side road behind the Five Ways shopping centre.
Inside is nice enough, as these places go but you are being observed by all, including the security staff who escort you up in the lift. He asked me some weird questions too, about my health, which I didn't tell him and instead asked him why he wanted to know.....
I strongly felt I was regarded as something that had crawled in from under a stone but they were 'covering' their disdain with superficial smiles and politeness.
However, the doctor (yes an actual GP) I saw was genuine and kind.

I have a feeling this is not the old five ways house venue. The Capita centre is further down Hagley Rd and does appear to have adequate parking. Good Luck
