Information to send PIP was created by WmWallace
Hi Good afternoon,

Just a few quiries.

First,

I recieved PIP 2 form to day. It asked me not to send future appointments. I have a heart scan coming up, also had these procedures in the past. Also mental health paperwork, past and present.

I am of the mind that I should send them all the information I deem relevant to my illnesses.

I am mindful if I don't send all I think I should, they may not have full picture of my history.

Do you think my approach is right?

Second,

I know that this benefit is not the same as ESA. I am in ESA support group. I am of a mind to send A copy of the last ESA85A I got. Is this a good idea?

Last,

I know this is a bug bear for people receiving PIP 2 form letter' at top of form dated 4 January 2016, I got it today 13 January 2016, it state it has to be back by the 5 February 2016. I know I can request an exstention, but point is I should have month to fill in form. Is it worth while, complaining and sending copy to MP?

Thank you

It's your claim you are entitled to send what you want with the PIP2. Our experience on the forum is that neither the DWP nor the Assessment Provider (AP) will source any additional information on your problems, so if you don't, who will!

As long as you are happy that the ESA85A only contains positive information then there is no harm in your sending it, but it will be of little value if you do not reference the content, as relevant, in your answers on the PIP2.

I'm afraid postage time, the DWP's and yours, is included in the four weeks allowed for you to complete the form. Unless you can show that the delay was specifically the fault of the DWP and not the Royal Mail, I don't think there is much point in your complaining, although it may be a good reason for asking for an extension.
