Hi
In December 2015 I received a PIP2 form that said my PIP was to be renewed .....for December 2016. When I phoned then up to ask for an extension on the time the form had to be in ....a recorded message on the phone said they aimed for all claims to be dealt with within 4 months!
Anyways, the first round of this process made me quite ill and already I feel sick at the thought of going through this all over again.
Is this quite normal to receive these forms a year early?
thanks for any help

Hi m,
Welcome to Benefits and Work
Yes, it is the norm to receive your PIP Renewal/Review Forms 12 months before the end date of your current award.
As reiterated in ; This Topic.
In fact, PIP Legislation states that a current PIP Award can be reviewed at any time for any reason.
You should treat this as if it was your first PIP Assessment and you should not assume that DWP/ATOS or Capita will refer to any evidence that you have previously provided.
