This is a decision that only you can make, whilst you have an obligation to tell the DWP of any change in your conditions, the reality is that they are not usually bothered by the claimant getting worse.

The criteria for PIP are far stricter than those for DLA and the intention is that a significant number of DLA claimants will see a reduced award or even no award at all, although for some, it may offer an opportunity for an increased award.
