Esa reassessment

Hi my daughter was placed in support group in December with a view to reassess in 18 months time does the 18 months start from the December or from when the initial claim was started which was September ? And how many months in advance do they normally send reassessment forms out ?

Thanks Gordan I have just phoned the DWP to request the ESA50A and did ask the question and they said that the decision was made end of November not December so reassessment would be about May / June 2017. So I could get forms March / April but she did say could be later

As Gordon says, ESA is awarded "indefinitely" with regular re-assessments !

So, you do not have to contact DWP to instigate a re-assessment.

When the time comes, you should receive an ESA50 Questionnaire through the post.

In anticipation of receiving the hard copy ESA50 through the post, you could put yourself ahead of the "game" by making a start now.
