Welcome to Benefits and Work To answer your question, it does happen but infrequently, I would estimate that paper only assessments are done for about 10% of claims, awards in these circumstance tend to fall into two camps, no award at all, or an Enhanced award of at least one component.
We have had very few members who have fallen into the first category.
Mid range awards do happen in these circumstances but are definitely in the minority.
Unfortunately I cannot give you a magic formula for a paper only assessment, it will primarily depend on the quality of the information you provide in the claim form, the strength and relevance of the evidence attached and finally the conditions that you suffer from.
