changing username?

Hi

I am struggling with my mental health at the moment and am struggling a lot with paranoia, which means I am feeling really sacred about my user name, thoughts that the DWP will come on here and identify me and see what i'm writing and use it against me somehow.

I know that's not wholly rational, but my username is still a little bit like my name & so i'd like to change it to something much more random. (when I chose the name my paranoia was at a much more manageable level and it seemed fine to me, but now I am really struggling & was hoping to change it to something like or something, which would at least be similar but not anything like my name)

But I didn't know if it's possible or allowed. I don't want to cause mods any more work/problems than they already have, so I will of course understand if it's not ok.

Hi,

You can change your username to whatever you wish, as many times as you want to !!

This will change your username on all of your previous posts as well. When I have time I will then go through your previous posts and delete /change any reference to your current username !

You can do this quite easily by following the instructions in this FAQ :
