Evidence recording for better result? was created by chewbacca
Hello
Last year I applied for pip and got the basic result despite me not agreeing to what the home assessor thought I could do. Unfortunately at the time I asked for a reassessment and they came back and said their decision was correct. My condition is no better if not worse than how I was last year. I am up for a renewal next year but would it be wise to document in a diary of how much struggle each day is for me? I currently work and I really do not want to give that up and even though my employer has accommodated me with reduction in hours and get an occupational health chair, I am struggling. To top that up I feel I am having anxiety issues now too because of my condition which the specialist has stated I am pretty much stuck with for life.
To get a better result from the dwp would it be a good idea to get a diary? I appreciate all the help and advice in advance. Thank you.

Hi Chewy,

It certainly wouldn't hurt to keep a diary of your condition. We have some examples in our PIP guide.
