DLA to PIP to AA

Hi
wanted to pick your brains.Was awarded DLA indefinitely high needs and mobility I know I will be called in soon for PIP assessment. if I am awarded mobility component of PIP does this stop when I reach retirement age and have to claim AA?.
Getting a bit freaked out because without my mobility car I could not afford to fund a car myself.

Hi Zaffie,

As long as you are deemed to meet the criteria, you will continue to receive PIP after retirement age. You would only have to claim AA if you no longer qualified for PIP.
