HI, Even if you are awarded ESA, can you still ask for a copy of the assessment and report into how the decision was made? If so, what should I ask for and would this affect my claim?
Yes, you are perfectly entitled to have a copy of the report and many of our members do so. It will be an ESA85 if you had a face 2 face assessment, or an ESA85a if you did not. Or you could put in a subject access request for all the paperwork associated with your claim.
