Now beginning 5th week since being awarded PIP by Tribunal but still no contact from DWP. Anyone have recent experience of delayed payment ? What is the time scale for getting the new rate and back payment ? Begrudge paying 45p per minute to call them, last time this cost £11 for a short call !!

You need to chase the PIP department for an update, Tribunal Decision usually take 5-8 weeks to process.

Hello again. We did eventually get through to DWP and were told that the delay was due to the papers having to be sent back to the Tribunal. The reason was that the Tribunal had wrongly dated the beginning of the award but this had been corrected and the award had been passed on to the payments section. This was exactly one calendar month after the award was given. We were told to expect a letter or telephone call to confirm bank details to enable payment. Two more weeks passed by and we spoke to them once again (today). However, we now learn that they are still not able to process the payment because the Tribunal has not yet 'confirmed' the award. A note had been sent to the Tribunal by email but not replied to.
When it was pointed out that this was in contradiction of the previous information given to us, we were told that the previous information was incorrect. Should we be concerned or is this just DWP at work.

I can't think of any reason why the Tribunal need to "confirm" the award, the Decision Notice does this and although it had to be amended, that amended copy would still be sufficient.

The discrepancy could be as to whether that amended copy has been received back or not.

Have now entered week eight in the wait for PIP payment since the award was made by the tribunal. DWP waiting for confirmation by email from courts service about dates discrepency and courts service saying they have a backlog. Beginning to suspect a conspiracy.
