Welcome to Benefits and Work We like to hope that the home visit signifies that the assessment provider has accepted that you have a degree of disability. The truth is that there often seems to be little rhyme or reason to it, other than that Capita are happier to grant home visits than ATOS!

You can have someone with you.
You can choose which room you use for the assessment. The assessor should not want to see anywhere else in your property although it might be to your advantage to point out aids in other places.
The assessors can turn up early, late - or even not at all!
