Hi XW and Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is
Welcome to Benefits and Work You can choose which room you want the assessment held in. The assessor is a guest in your home. They should not ask to look around the rest of your home. However, if you have certain aids or adaptations (maybe an adapted bathroom, for instance) then you might wish to show them this.
You can have someone with you during the assessment and we usually advise that you do so.
The assessor might arrive on time (if you are lucky) but s/he is just as likely to arrive early, late or not at all.
The actual content of the assessment will be the same as if you were at an assessment centre. Our PIP guide explains what should happen.
