DLA to PIP was created by stripey1877
According to my MSP, the transfer from DLA to PIP for those residing in Scotland will not be taking place.

DLA/PIP was one of the welfare benefits transferred to Holyrood under the Scotland Bill as such the transfer will not be going ahead.

Can you please confirm?.

I believe that many people in Scotland have already been assessed for PIP, so I don't know how this would work.

Stripey. I live in Edinburgh and received my DLA/PIP transfer 'invitation' last week, unfortunately. I have been on DLA (lower rate, care component) since 2004.

I wouldn't hold your breath, it hasn't happened yet and for DLA may not happen before the vast majority of DLA claimants have been invited to claim PIP.

I found the following that may be of interest.

Thank you for your response. I had asked the same question as to how this would work as as you say many people in Scotland had been through it already. The reply being was he did not know how exactly it would work or how the First Minister would fund it, he added if I got a letter/invite to apply for PIP see him at his office and allow him to deal with it.
