Hi and Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ

My full name is showing, how can I stop it?

I am sorry you are going through this :)

Don't forget that being awarded ESA has nothing directly to do with whether you are well enough to work, whether you lost your previous job due to ill health or whether anyone would employ you. It is entirely down to meeting the descriptors and showing this is where you should spend your time and energy.

The assessor will not have access to previous records or even know that you are already in receipt of ESA. That is why we always advise people to treat each reassessment as if it were a new claim, filing in forms in detail and submitting as much evidence as possible.

Our ESA guide has a section that tells you what to expect from the face2face assessment. It certainly won't be like any 'medical' you ever saw and might not even relate directly to the questions on the ESA50.

ESA claims and appeals

You might want to bookmark/favourite this on your web browser now so that you can find it easily in future. That will allow you to come and tell us how you get on, or ask further questions, without having to start a new topic each time. It helps us enormously when everything relating to the same claim is kept in one place - and I hope you will find it useful too :)

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
