PIP Mediacl Assessment!!!

Hi, I'm new to this forum and sorry to trouble you, I have been on DLA for 9 years and have just been told its stopping. I am very poorly and my daughter is my full time carer, I have just had to claim for PIP. We did the form with lots of detail and a very good letter from my GP, asking for a home visit if an assessment is needed and all about my health problems. The DWP then sent my GP another form for him to fill in which he did and sent off. They have completely ignored all he's said and now want me to have a face to face assessment, they wont let me have a home visit and the assessment is miles and miles away from where I live. I suffer with terrible agoraphobia and anxiety which they know. Im finding it very stressful now, I cant cope, I don't think I will get my PIP which means I wont have an income anymore. Is anyone else having problems or does anyone have any words of help for me

Thank you so much for messaging me, my daughter rang the doctor, they said they would try and arrange transport for me but I'm so scared to go I don't like going out and especially trying to cope with strange people. I'm in a wheelchair most of my time. Yes ok I will try and contact my MP, thank you you're very kind.

Yes I see where you're coming from, I do go out but only to the doctors and when I go I'm in my wheelchair with my face kept covered, but we did tell them that, I suppose they must still feel I should go. Do you think it is still worth contacting my MP.
