PIP and Income support was created by carmind

I have a client who has been refused PIP when transferred from DLA. As a result, her partner's Carers Allowance and their Income Support have also been stopped.
Is this correct?

Hi Carmind,

Yes, I am afraid this is correct. Carers' allowance is dependent on a care award and Income Support is dependent on Carers' allowance.

Obviously, you will know better than me whether there might be anything else the couple can claim.
