Well that explanation makes no sense at all, but at least the confirmed that you are still being assessed.

Looks that way, I have read your guidelines, requested a recording of the interview and my GP has written a letter regarding my health with a prognosis and stating that I am unable to work.
Roll on Wednesday, any other advice would be welcomed.
Many thanks

Hi Linda,

Our ESA guide explains what to expect on the day

ESA claims and appeals

You should treat the assessment as commencing when you leave your home and not ending until you have (been) driven away from the assessment centre. You might be viewed on CCTV or watched as you arrive and depart the venue, as well as while you are actually there.

Thanks for your reply, Received letter today, my assessment for Wednesday 6/7 has been postponed, what would happen if the revised date is not convenient, are you allowed to reschedule ?
Thank you

Just a thought, I take it that it is ok to take a GP letter to the assessment even though I did not send one with the esa form ??
My family have helped put together a 5 page info sheet on how my illness affects my life, not originally sent in but wanting to take this also to the assessment?
What do u think is it ok?
Should I also send copy to DWP decision maker ?
Panicking now

You can rearrange once, but must then attend the next appointment whenever it is arranged for or risk having your claim closed. If you do re-arrange then it is best to contact Maximus and arrange the new date over the phone to ensure that it is convenient.
