As far as we know the DWP are no longer deferring assessments so it sounds like the original person you spoke to gave you incorrect information, we don't know how reassessment dates are calculated, whether it is done be adding the prognosis to the last assessment date, or there is a field that holds the reassessment date or both. I'm thinking they may have calculated the date while they were speaking to you.
