Hi. I wonder if I can have some advice. I have the chance of a lump sum pension of 11 grand. I get pip enhanced daily living and standard mobility . I am Esa contribution based in support group. What will they deduct if I choose to go ahead. As I lost my mobility car this year can I use the money to get a newish car and not be penalised. Thanks in advance
In case you are not aware, your real name appears to be showing in the forum, if you want to change this then follow the instructions in the following FAQ
If you are only receiving ESA(CB) then a lump sum will have no effect on ESA, if you have a regular income from the pension then it may affect your ESA and you will need to inform the DWP.
