Hi i AM a new member and am trying to fill in a pip form, my husband has Bipolar and post truamatic stress disorder, he has been getting DLA at the highest rate for 15 years, but now is the time to switch to PIP!!!
Does anybody have any tips or advice for the form please

i have filled the form in but do not have an up to date care plan, my gp says he doesn't provide letters but he waits for the official form from work and pensions. He says that he will support the claim because i made him aware of how the condition affects my husband. Doesn't sound very hopeful does it

I'm afraid it is unlikely that your GP will be contacted by the DWP.
Is the Care Plan still in operation, if so then it would be reasonable to include it.
It you have had treatment in the last few years then this should have been reported to your GP and you can access this information.
