Any Info on Recording was created by maximoe
Hi, Just wondering what I would need to record my assessment, If needing to have a face to face. A) what sort of recording equipment, & how many ?
& did anyone need to take an extension wire in case the plug was too far away, for the recorder to pick-up any voices ? Sorry if I sound thick, that's because I'am lol!!!!. & if anybody can think of anything else I need to know, I would be very grateful. I'm just waiting to hear if I need a f to f. This really messes with your health problems. :

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi Maureen,
It depends on whether you are referring to a claim for ESA or PIP.
If it is ESA, Maximus will usually arrange for recordings as long as this is requested in advance.
For PIP, permission also needs to be requested from the Assessment Provider in advance. You need to produce 2 copies of the recording and cannot use a digital recording. You can use 2 tape cassette or CD recorders. I don't know if anyone has needed to use and extension lead. I guess this will, in part, depend on the room in which you are assessed.
