pip assessor asked about wrk was created by lindsayc12
The capita assessor asked me whether I worked and when . I explained I left due to finding it too tiring, stressful and aggravated my anxiety and depression. How much notice do they take of this and will it help with being awarded any points?

Also tried to explain I do swim for asthma but it does vary when and then she asked if I ate at least one meal a day I do but it is not always a proper meal or health, junk food or in a café as too depressed to cook.

The assessor refused to accept further information from me such as dairy and asthma care plan and photos and videos of how bad my flat was.

Hi and Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

Yes, we have heard that this question is being asked at PIP assessments. I'm afraid I cannot even guess whether your reply will help you score points.

You should expect a decision letter in around 4-8 weeks time.

Should I have mentioned trigeminal neuralgia as have had it in my mouth for years but forgot to mention it in any information so far. I don't see my dentist about it anymore as it appears they cannot do anything about it.

Hi Lindsay,

I have moved your second question into the topic you have already started about your PIP. Please will you keep all questions and comments relating to your PIP in this topic? You will find it easily in future if you bookmark/favourite it on your web browser now.

You should have included all conditions that bring about restrictions for which you hope to score points!

Hi Lindley, regarding your Trigeminal Neuralgia, I had hemifacial facial spasms for 5 years because the people that I saw said that I had to live with it and they didn't know the cause etc etc. I because so upset and when I got home I checked the Internet to find somebody to help me, yes I did find someone but he was 400 miles away, I telephone Ed his secatary and she penciled me in to see him, she then told me to go to my Dr and get a referral sent to them. This was in may last year and I was operated on in the October, so many people are going to him, and I wouldn't let anyone operate or touch my head apart from him when I came round I was spasm free,he found a blood vessel knuckled to a facial nerve. He is Mr Nik Patel in Bristol at Southdean hospital and he also works with people with Trigeminal Neuralgia......hope this message is allowed
