Those fabulous folk at ATOS have called me in for my assessment this week. I've been ill since Saturday worrying about it. I'm absolutely terrified I'm going to get the same woman I got before. She lied. The forms said things like I had a good pincer grip, interestingly, pincer grip on one hand is something that is in fact almost impossible for me due to significant nerve damage. The document she produced bore no resemblance to my life whatsoever.
What happens if she is the person that calls me through? Am I allowed to ask for somebody else?

I would call ATOS in advance of the assessment and raise your concerns to ensure you get a different assessor, if you leave it until you get there you run the risk of their not being another assessor being available and as a result, your using your one opportunity to have the appointment re-arranged.
