Hi all I am expecting my assessment for PIP at any time now , I was awarded DLA ( indefinite) around three years ago , so I am trying to prepare as much as I can for the PIP assessment , seems a lot of people are being turned down the first time , why are they making it so hard ?, anyway just wondered If ( when the dreaded brown envelope arrives ) if it is a good idea to ask them if I could have the assessment recorded (filmed ) or will this go against me for any reason .any advice would be appreciated . Thanks
It is possible to have the PIP f2f audio recorded only (not filmed). This must be agreed with the Assessment Prooovider in advance and it is the claimant's responsibility to provide equipment to carry out 2 concurrent recordings. This can be 2 separate CD or tape recorders, digital recordings are not permitted.
