Pip tribunal was created by Maria
Hi I am new to the forum. I am hoping someone can help.
My daughter had her last pip tribunal cancelled one hour before appointment time as they failed to do a risk assessment and had no chair suitable for my daughter we were deverstated. I spoke to the judge who assured me she would push for a home tribunal then
My daughter has a pip tribunal letter saying new date of 19th Dec 16.at taunton magistrates court. We need to push this date back as still gathering reports to submit what grounds can I use to push date back. Any help would be appreciated this has been a year now and the stress this has caused my daughter is outrageous.

Hi and Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explains where everything is

Welcome to Benefits and Work

You should contact the Tribunal Service and explain that you were promised a home tribunal but have been sent a date to attend court. This in itself will probably delay things.

However, other than that, I suspect the TS might take the stance that you have already had 12 months to prepare and 1 curtailed hearing, so should have everything you need. You have nothing to lose, and much to gain, by trying though!

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
