DWP PIP Xmas Dates

Please would someone kindly tell me, the Xmas opening dates for calling PIP line (new claim / Dla transfer).

Are there likely to be any differences in the PIP telephone service between the
19th Dec 2016 to the 4th Jan 2017.

I've just tried searching for this information, with no success! You should certainly assume that the lines will be closed on 24th,25th, 26th + 27th Dec as the first is a Saturday and the others bank holidays.

The same will apply to Sat 31th Dec, Sunday 1st Jan and Mon 2nd Jan.

Other than this, I'm afraid you have as much information as me.

I am just wondering if the DWP may make take an extra day after the bank holidays,
opening a day later.

As some times councils and other government departments do often take extra days after bank holidays.
