GP supporting evidence, from different address.

If I were to move houses, and were to keep my GP at my parents house - Should I be invited to claim PIP or anything in the future, would the DWP have any problems if my claimant address was different to that of a GP report addressed to my old address?

I would still be staying at my parents house from time to time, but I really want to keep my medical stuff at my parents house, as I would be moving out of the GP area and maybe trust area depending on where I get a house.

There is all this talk about the GP needing to be in easy reach, but I havent had a doctor out in years and can not forsee a time when they would be needed as we now have walk in centres and A and E.

Thoughts please?

Hi Jedi,

The only problem I can foresee is the Tribunal Panel wanting your assurance that the information in the report is up to date as the address isn't. If that happens, you should explain to them as you have to us.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems
