IHD - Ischaemic heart disease and PIP was created by TK19
Hi all,
Has anyone claimed PIP with IHD and what luck?
On my medical print out from GP it states "IHD - Uschaemic heart disease - on angiogram" - back in 2013 but was not given any medication for it. probably because I am on high dosage of Warfarin last 20+ years already.

Nothing on this board constitutes legal advice - always consult a professional about specific problems

Hi TK,
Welcome to the forum, you might want to have a look at the following FAQ which explain where everything is
Welcome to Benefits and Work
PIP is awarded due to the care and/or mobility needs caused by your condition, rather than on the diagnosis.
This is explained in our PIP guide and there is also a self-assessment test that you can do. Score yourself harshly, as DWP will, and see if it appears a claim would be successful.
PIP help for claimants
May I suggest that you bookmark/favourite this on your web browser so that you can find it easily in future? This will allow you to return with further questions or comments without having to start a enw topic each time. We ask members to keep everything relating to the same claim in one topic as it helps us enormously - and I hope you will find it useful too
