ESA and part time degree study was created by Firesprite
Hi,
Ive been thinking about applying to do a 4 year part time degree, its less than 16 hours a week. . I receive ESA Income related for the Support Group and Higher Rate DLA for both Mobility and Living. Im 63. Im confused as some of the things I have read say that my ESA will be cut by the student loan, but Im only going to ask for a student loan to cover the course fees. If anyone knows the answer or what I should do I would be very grateful. Thank you

It's not an area that we advise on but have a look at the following fact sheet

You can also try contacting the Student Union at the college or university they usually have experience of these matters.
