DLA to PIP effect on housing benefit

I got an email from my local council today stating that my housing benefit and council tax benefit had been revised because my DLA had 'been amended'. The figures in the email represent a cut in both housing and council tax benefits.

I am waiting for the result of my assessment following the shift from DLA to PIP. How long is the average wait for your results?

Am I right to assume today's email means that I have not been successful in my claim for PIP and I have lost the mobility component that I had in my DLA?
The email came after the local council closed today so I couldn't phone them to check. I'm starting to panic about falling into rent arrears.

It sounds as if a Decision has been made. Your LA will have been notified electronically, a letter to you may take 7-10 days.

If your HB and CT have gone up then at the least your current award has been reduced.

You can ring the DWP, as the Decision is on the computer they should be able to tell you the result.
