Is assessment confidential? was created by Louise
I just had my PIP medical assessment at home. It was less than an hour long which I'm worried about as my last one was over 2 hours! Is this a bad or good sign? I felt she was rushing through the assessment. My anxiety was through the roof and I told her that. I just don't know what to make of it all now. Just have a bad feeling about it all. :(

I think that assessors are told to aim for 50 minutes, so an hour is not a problem.

I just had mine. It was rushed and I felt pressure to answer quickly. It lasted 40 mins and I have a bad feeling too!

Oh no DaisyBoo it's not a good feeling. She didn't go into how my condition varies and fluctuates, what happens if I do things etc and pushed me through it. My first one was more relaxed and thorough.

Yes she started off being all nice and friendly but by the end she was firing questions at me left right and center. The big deal seemed to be what specialist had diagnosed me , with all my many conditions and why I wasn't still seeing them. Once something is diagnosed say osteoarthritis, I don't keep going back to the specialist over and over. I just get my many medicine s from the gp.
I have been having repeated panic attacks since she left and feel too sick to eat!

I was wondering if what I told the HP could be reported back to my gp? There are some personal issues I would not want repeating.
