Hi DB,
I have merged your query with the previous topic relating to your PIP as we ask members to keep everything relating to the same claim in one place.
The assessor might want to contact your GP if they believed you were at risk in some way (self harm, for instance). However, they should ask your permission to do so.
Please reply to this message with further questions or comments about your PIP and we will do our best to help. You will find it easily in future if you bookmark/favourite it now on your web browser. Alternatively you can click on your username (in blue when you are logged into the forum) and it will bring up a list of all your previous messages
