Applying for mobility benefit was created by Baido
I have the highest rate of care but now need to claim mobility ? I also have been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder . What will be the best way of applying .

You don't say what benefit you are currently receiving, if it is DLA then reporting a Change will result in your being invited to claim PIP, if you are already on PIP then it will be a full reassessment of your claim.

Be aware that PIP and DLA have very different criteria and PIP has been engineered to be a more difficult benefit to award, for example the reasons for awarding the highest rate of care are fundamentally different and there will be no assumption that someone on DLA HRC will qualify for Enhanced Daily Living.
