The PIP Transitional Regulations effectively suspend the rule that PIP Mobility cannot be awarded over the age of 64, so a Standard or Enhanced rate award can be made.
If no Enhanced award is made then this would be the only time that it can be appealed.
If no Mobility award is made, then this would also be the only time that it can be appealed.
If a Standard award is made and then removed on a later reassessment then the Standard award can be appealed, but even if you showed that an Enhanced award was justified it could not be award only the Standard one again.
