So I enlisted the support of my MP and his letter on House of Commons paper seems to have finally brought Capita out from under their stone. Finally, a call from their complaints handling team.
CApita don't deal with complaints about their reports, I was told by Steven at the Belfast Call Centre three weeks after I sent my letter, as advised to do by the DWP after a complete rejection of my application for PIP. No wonder, based on the poor quality of the Medical professionals report from my assessment interview, she must have been blind and deaf herself,! And finally, over a month after I sent my letter to CAPITA, but only after receiving the letter from my MP's office, I get a call from a senior complaints worker. So she has some explaining to do, and some investigations to make, and hopefully I will finally, after many months, get some help to deal with my disabling health conditions. I don't suppose I can hope for an apology.
It's so very hard to fight your corner when you are ill, but I'm glad I have taken on the fight and I'm very grateful to my MP for supporting me. So far so good.
